:) I don't think she's supposed to be like the Doctor at all because by his own words, the Doctor is not a sane Gallifreyian. And that's the problem. Melody is not human (modified DNA) just like the Doctor's not human. Starting with this episode, I think, she will start modeling her behavior based on her sporadic contact with him. I think, in short, she will become the "mad woman with a gun" based on future contact with the "mad man with a box."

It's like hot dogs. You really enjoy the final product, but would probably lose your love for the food if you saw how they were made. I like the River in 'Silence in the Library,' but that's the finished product. We're watching her being made and it's an ugly process.
